Gaj Mahotsav, is a festival to celebrate the Majestic Asian Elephant as India's National Heritage animal.The celebration encompasses their salient role in ecology, as an intergral part of our religion, mythology and literature. 
This 4 days festival organized by Wildlife Trust of India(WTI) and the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate change, partnered by the International Fund for Animal Welfare and United Nations Environment (UNE).

 VANUE: Indira Gandhi National Centre for the art, 11, Mansingh Road, near Andhra Bhavan,  Rajpath Ares, New Delhi.
